Confirmed Hosts

Hazel's only requirement is CGI access. As such, she works on the vast majority of web hosting providers. However, the following web hosting providers have distinguished themselves as particularly well-configured, and will run Hazel smoothly and securely as recommended, without any special modifications, meeting the suggestions below for the simple, hassle-free setup.

We recommend the hosts below not only for Hazel, but for any serious web application.

Why this list?

Many Hazel customers choose a low-cost (or, tragically high-cost!) provider which is not suitable for running any type of complex CGI. This list will hopefully guide prospective e-merchants towards a well-administered site and competent operators sensitive to their needs.

Explanations for our requirements and notes above can be found on our server recommendations page.

Comments or additions?

If you know of a service provider which meets our requirements (or have complaints about a listed provider), please e-mail us at hazel@netsville.com with the details.
